Since there is no control over the number of characters written in this text-box I would like to share with you some words that I feel are of value for everyone:

What will matter? How the values of your days will be measured?
What will matter is not what you bought, but what you build; not what you have, but what you gave; what will matter is not your success but your significance; what will matter is not what you learned, but what you taught; what will matter is every active integrity, compassion, courage or sacrifice that enriched, empowered or encouraged other to emulate your example. What will matter is not your competence but your character; what will matter is not how many people you knew but how many will feel a lasting loss when you are gone; what will mater is not your memories, but the memories that leave in those who love you. A life lived that matters is not of circumstance but of choice.

Do not waste the remainder of your life in thoughts about others, when you do not refer your thoughts to some object of common utility. For you lose the opportunity of doing something else when you have such thoughts as these. What is such a person doing, and why, and what is he saying, and what is he thinking of, and what is he contriving, and whatever else of the kind makes us wander away from the observation of our own ruling power. We ought then to check in the series of our thoughts everything that is without a purpose and useless, but most of all the overcurious feeling and the malignant; and a man should use himself to think of those things only about which if one should suddenly ask, What are you thinking about? With perfect openness you might immediately answer, this or that; so that from your words it should be plain that everything in you is simple and benevolent, as befits a social animal, one that is unconcerned with pleasure, sensual enjoyments, rivalry, envy, suspicion, or any other thoughts that you would blush to admit. When such a man comes to the fore, he is like a priest and minister of the gods, guided by the deity within that makes a man uncontaminated by pleasure, unharmed by any pain, untouched by any insult, feeling no wrong, a fighter in the noblest fight, one who cannot be overpowered by any passion, dyed deep with justice, accepting with all his soul everything that happens and is assigned to him as his portion;and only with great necessity and for the general interest imagining what another says or does or thinks, For his activity concentrates on his own lot, and he constantly thinks of that portion of things that has been allotted to him, and he makes his own acts fair, and he is persuaded that his own portion is good. For the lot that is assigned to each man is carried along with him and carries him along with it. And he remembers also that every rational animal is his kinsman, and that to care for all men is according to man's nature; and a man should value the opinion of those who openly live according to nature. But as to those who do not, he always bears in mind what kind of men they are both at home and from home, both by night and by day, and what they are, and with what men they live an impure life. Accordingly, he does not value at all the praise that comes from such men, since they are not even satisfied with themselves. [M. Aurelius 170-180 BC, excerpt from the " Meditations" 3rd book ]

If you have a golf-ball-sized consciousness, when you read a book, you'll have a golf-ball-sized understanding; when you look out a window, a golf-ball-sized awareness, when you wake up in the morning, a golf-ball-sized wakefulness; and as you go about your day, a golf-ball-sized inner happiness. But if you can expand that consciousness, make it grow, then when you read about that book, you'll have more understanding; when you look out, more awareness; when you wake up, more wakefulness; as you go about your day, more inner happiness. [D. Lynch]

One who looks outside, dreams. One who looks inside, awakes. [C.G. Jung]

The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all true art and science. [A. Einstein]

Once you have the experience that feels out of your control, you can allow the experience to get the best of you and drain your energy and move into a dense unhappy place emotionally, or you can decide to take it for what it is and experience and keep moving forward.

Aging is going from a perceptual stance of ego to a perceptual stance of soul. [R. Das]

As you think, so shall you be.

Energy goes where attention flows.

People could fall into the trap of understanding freedom as you know "I do what I like". I don't really think that's freedom because you are still bound by your desires, the addiction of that... and you are able to transcend that. Otherwise your passion is determining your behavior although you are saying it is freedom. [father L. Prabba]

Propaganda works best when those who are being manipulated are confident that they are acting on their own free will. [Goebbels]

None are more hopelessly enslaved than those who falsely believe they are free. [Goethe]

Success is to be measured not so much bu the position that one has reached in life as by the obstacles which he has overcome.

It is easy to make a buck. It's a lot tougher to make a difference.

Read everything, listen to everybody, don't trust anything unless you can prove it with your own research [W. Cooper]

no my friend... nothing wrong regarding the group. i am simply tidying up my folders and watches. Since information nowadays is infinite, we have to try hard stay on the right track of info - otherwise, we find our selves lost.
I love ubuntu but there was no contribution from me to the group and I rarely watch the group's news so I decided to release my self from the group.
